Newfoundland and Labrador brings out the explorer in all of us.

Utilizing the gyroscopic sensors found in your smartphone, we created a 360-degree website that encouraged visitors to explore the site. Like their Viking predecessors a thousand years ago, visitors navigated the site by way of the stars. Different constellations represented different areas of travel interest, offering inspiration to those thinking about planning a visit. There was also a travel photographer tour built into the site that allowed visitors to scope out scenic pictures from across the province taken by some of Instagram’s biggest influencers.


Newfoundland and Labrador isn’t your typical travel destination. And it doesn’t attract your typical traveler either. Blending history, culture, and the rugged outdoors, those who travel here are those who are in search of something a little bit different. Something that hasn’t necessarily been discovered. Or explored, yet. In a hyper-competitive travel landscape, we needed to communicate this spirit of exploration to our audience in a uniquely creative way.
