Every night, over 250 Calgary youth will find themselves without a place to call home. With so much uncertainty in their lives, they don’t get to be teens. Safe Haven, a non-profit that offers safe housing for young women, wanted to remind Calgarians of this, sad but true, fact.

From influencers to streetfluencers. Our teens had a dark story to share 🤳🏻

Calgarians were largely unaware of the youth homeless problem. The challenge was to break through to them in a way that truly captured the harsh realities of life on the street, compelling them to stop and take notice. The solution came through the lens of teen influencers who, driven by a desire to prevent others from enduring similar lived experiences, chose to share their personal stories with the world.
